While living in Bangkok, the Lord put a passionate desire in the hearts of Pastors Nathan and Salila to plant a church that will strongly preach and teach the finished work of Jesus and raise up committed and fruitful disciples of the Lord Jesus in Thailand.

After much waiting on clear direction from the Lord, in May 2004, they moved to the northern city of Chiangmai armed only with a God-given vision and the revelation of God’s grace and faith.

Through various divine interventions and favor, on 11 July 2004, Abundant Grace Church (AGC) was launched! The first service was attended by about 20 adults. It was in a small building with a few plastic chairs, one speaker, two microphones, one guitar, and a few table fans.

As the Word of God moved in the hearts of the people, the church grew and moved its services to the YMCA International Hotel.

Services were held at the YMCA until August 2009 when a rapidly growing membership, faith, and obedience to God's Word enabled the church to move to a larger facility.

As of today, AGC continues to grow and fulfill the vision of proclaiming the Gospel of God’s grace and raising strong disciples without any compromise or dilution.

From the beginning, we have seen AGC as a local church with a powerful influence. Our vision and purpose have been focused on reaching the Thai urban community. Our message can be summarized as one of victorious and purposeful living through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit, and through faith in the amazing gospel of the finished work of Jesus Christ.
